The Department of Public-Private Partnerships (DPPP) is tasked with formulation of policies to ensure time-bound creation of world class infrastructure; financing of investment in infrastructure; promotion of Public-Private Partnerships (PPP) as the preferred mode for construction, operations and maintenance of infrastructure projects; suggesting institutional, regulatory and procedural reforms; standardization of DPPP documents; evolving suitable reforms and policy initiatives for consideration of the Governing Body and appraisal of DPPP projects. Several path breaking initiatives have been initiated that are aimed at promoting direct private investments in infrastructure.
