The Spoken Tutorial project is funded by the National Mission on Education through Information and Communication Technology (ICT), launched by Ministry of Education, erstwhile Ministry of Human Resources and Development, Government of India. The Spoken Tutorial project is being developed at IIT Bombay for Ministry of Education (previously MHRD), Government of India.



The Indian Institute of Technology Bombay is a public research university and technical institute in Powai, Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. IIT Bombay was founded in 1958. In 1961, the Parliament decreed IITs as Institutes of National Importance.



The 360 Research Foundation is an associate partner of Spoken Tutorial IIT Bombay and promotes community - based research, technology innovation, and empowerment. It supports underprivileged communities and children globally, fostering a conducive environment for inventive minds and researchers.


The school or institute is tasked with providing computer labs, collecting student charges, ensuring transparent financial arrangements, and coordinating with 360 Research Foundation to confirm student registrations for Spoken Tutorial at IIT Bombay. This pivotal role supports and facilitates the project's educational initiatives.
