Jobner Regional Center (Rajasthan)
A Unit of the Department of Agriculture, 360 Research Foundation
Center Head: Dr. Rakesh Konsotia (M.Sc., Ph.D.)

The Jobner Regional Center is a key unit of the Department of Agriculture, 360 Research Foundation, focusing on agricultural research, farmer training, and sustainable development in the arid and semi-arid regions of Rajasthan. Led by Dr. Rakesh Konsotia, an accomplished academic and researcher in agricultural sciences, the center is committed to addressing region-specific challenges such as water scarcity, soil degradation, and climate stress.
Situated near the prestigious Sri Karan Narendra Agriculture University, Jobner, the center leverages academic partnerships and field-based innovation to empower local farmers with drought-resilient crops, soil health management, and low-input, high-efficiency farming practices. It conducts regular capacity-building programs, awareness campaigns, and field demonstrations to introduce farmers to the latest advancements in dryland agriculture.
The Jobner center also promotes traditional knowledge systems, seed preservation, and agro-ecological methods suited to Rajasthan’s climatic conditions. By integrating research with on-ground implementation, it serves as a critical bridge between knowledge and practice.
As part of 360 Research Foundation’s larger mission, the Jobner Regional Center contributes significantly to sustainable agriculture, food security, and rural empowerment across western India.
