Department of Agriculture

The Department of Agriculture (DA) at 360 Research Foundation plays a pivotal role in formulating strategic plans and policies to strengthen agriculture and allied sectors. Our scope of work includes agriculture, animal husbandry, dairy, fisheries, food processing, and agricultural land policies. By collaborating with national, state, and regional government departments, we ensure effective implementation of initiatives that support farmer welfare, sustainable growth, and overall sectoral development in the country.
Currently, the department operates through four active Regional Centers: Mathura (Bihar), headed by Mr. Ajit Kumar; Nagpur (Maharashtra), headed by Dr. Shubhangini Vijay Dangre; Jobner (Rajasthan), headed by Dr. Rakesh Kansotia; and Nauni (Himachal Pradesh), headed by Mr. Aman Deep. Each center is actively engaged in region-specific research, training, knowledge-sharing, extension services, and farmer-oriented development programmes. With continuous and consistent expansion, the Department of Agriculture is fully committed to enhancing its outreach, building strong networks, fostering innovation, and empowering rural communities through impactful agricultural research and sustainable development.
The Department of Agriculture is organizing an online training program on “Biometrical Tools in Agriculture: Theory, Application, & Interpretation using R” from 07 September 2025 to 22 October 2025. This program is designed to enhance participants’ understanding of statistical and biometrical techniques relevant to agricultural research. Through hands-on sessions using R software, participants will learn data analysis, model fitting, and result interpretation for real-world agricultural datasets. The training will be led by Dr. Narkhede Gopal Wasudeo, an expert from SR University, and is ideal for students, researchers, and professionals seeking practical skills in agricultural data analytics.
